Seven First Kisses: Who do you love?

What’s better than bringing handsome A-list men of Korean dramas all to the same show? Nothing. Seven First Kisses features Lee Joon Gi (Scarlet Heart: Ryeo), Ji Chang Wook, Park Hae Jin (Cheese in the Trap), Taecyeon (2PM), Kai (EXO), Lee Jong Suk (W), and Lee Min Ho (Heirs) in various roles. Our protagonist, Min Soo Jin (Lee Cho Hee) is helped by the goddess of multiple fates to find a man she’ll fall in love with. She gets to choose between seven handsome guys who try to woo her.

You can watch the English-subbed trailer here. It looks great, and I think there will be a high chance a streaming site (DramaFever, probably) will pick this up. The show airs in January with 10 episodes, so let’s cross our fingers that we get to watch it as it airs.

In the mean time, tell us who your favorite seven men are from the entertainment industry. Who do you want to be your first seven kisses?

Here are my choices!

  1. Kang Dong Won.
This handsome movie and drama actor, as well as model, is well-known for the diversity of roles he plays. I first saw him in Temptation of Wolves (2004) and Duelist (2005). It was instant attraction. He’s a great actor and has a wonderful (adorable) smile. I’ve made it my life goal to see all of his movies which range from suspenseful thrillers (such as Voice of a Murderer) to action (Jeon Woo-chi: The Taoist Wizard) to box office hits such as the largest grossing 2016 South Korean film A Violent Prosecutor.tumblr_mc0lfcrukf1qzzifl
  2. Roy Chiu.
Roy Chiu is a Taiwanese actor who is, apparently, also a race car driver. He’s played in many dramas that go back to the early 2000s, but I first saw him in Office Girls (2011), where I loved the chemistry between him and Alice Ke. They played in another drama together and I reviewed it.daniel_henney_a_p
  3. Daniel Henney.
He’s an American and Korean actor who first caught my eye in the romantic comedy film Seducing Mr. Perfect (2006). You might remember him from X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) as a bad guy. I haven’t seen him in many films or shows, but it appears that he’s focusing on acting in the United States and has appeared in Criminal Minds, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Hawaii Five–0.tumblr_static_large-3
  4. Shim Changmin (TVXQ)
I was a huge fan of TVXQ since the early 2000s (when there were five), and Changmin quickly grew to be my favorite. Every time I see him on stage or in a music video, I compliment his very long legs. He’s known for his high notes and his adorable dorkiness. He’s dabbled in acting and I was surprised to see him in The Scholar Who Walks the Night and I loved him in it. I hope to see him in future dramas!fc22c736c9d07910bd1bd7b5f4ab4223_13325
  5. Gackt
Who doesn’t know Gackt? The never-aging handsome Japanese singer who started his career even before I knew anime was a thing (early 90s!). He starred in Moon Child (2003) which also included Hyde, the lead singer of L’Arc-en-Ciel. I remember trying to get my hands on the drama Fuurin Kazan (2007), which featured Gackt as a character back in fuedal times.mikehejunxiang
  6. Mike He
He starred in the Taiwanese drama that fueled my Taiwanese drama love, Devil Beside You (2005). He has what I would called rugged-good looks and he was a model before switching to acting. He’s appeared in some dramas over the years, but doesn’t seem to be very active. Nonethless, if I could recreate my version of First Seven Kisses he would be in it.7ad51e965dae107484365282320a6935
  7. Tak Sakaguchi
I first saw him in Versus (2000) and Death Trance (2006), but also films like Shinobi: Heart Under Blade (2005) and the beloved TV drama Kamen Rider Kabuto (2006). Not only does he act, but he also is skilled in martial arts and this is reflected in many of his films. He’s done a lot of behind the scenes work (screenwriting and directing).

Those are my seven first kisses, but what about you? Who are your seven choices?
