New on Shoujo Shelves – May 2014

It’s finally getting warmer, and plants are in bloom. If you suffer from terrible allergies like most of my family, then you might want to take cover indoors and stay out of the pollen. Grab some of these ongoing series and keep up with your favorite love interests while enjoying the view from your window. Here’s what’s come out on shoujo shelves for the month of May:

Two series coming to a conclusion this month from Shojo Beat. I’ll miss Otomen and I really enjoyed Strobe Edge. Hey Viz!!! More Io Sakisaka, please!! Can we have Ao Haru Ride?? I’ll have to check into Robito’s series to see how it adds up to some of the other shoujo releases from Kodansha.
