Sentai Filmworks got the license to Hakuoki ~ Demon of the Fleeting Blossom: Warrior Spirit of the Blue Sky.
The shoujo manga Fukumenkei Noise is getting a TV anime adaption. The manga runs in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine. According to Anime News Network, “The manga tells a romance story with the themes of ”music x one-sided love.“ Nino, a girl who loves singing, made a childhood promise with her first crush Momo and song-composing Yuzu to someday find her voice. The three went their separate ways, but Nino kept her promise and continued to sing. Years later, the three are now high school students, and Nino is drawn into the world of band clubs.”
The Skip Beat! Kickstarter campaign reached its goal with $224,536. That means fans will be able to get a Blu-ray or DVD version of the anime.
Pash! a Japanese anime magazine targeted toward women recently launched an English version of their site.
The full trailer for Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita Kohuhaku Jikko Iinkai is available. The film will be released in Japan April 23. The film is part of Honeyworks’ vocaloid song project called Kohuhaku Jikko Iinktai ~Renai Series~.
The cast for the anime Scared Rider Xechs has been released. The cast is comprised of the cast from the video games.
Manga including A Bride’s Story by Kaoru Mori and A Silent Voice by Yoshitoki Oima have been nominated for the 2016 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards’ Best U.S. Edition of International Material – Asian Award.
