Wolf Girl and Black Prince poster

A new poster for the live-action film Wolf Girl and Black Prince has been released. The film will debut in Japan May 28.

Sailor Moon inspired eyewear

Bandai Premium has partnered with JINS (a Japanese eyewear brand) to bring Sailor Moon Crystal inspired glasses, which are available to preorder.

Bath Time Boyfriend

Lonely girls and 2D-obsessed fans should be pleased with bath kits featuring attractive male characters. Choose from eight characters from the Bath Time Boyfriend bath product line. Each pack has bath salts, a sponge, hair tie, and toe separaters. At only 1,500 that’s a pretty good deal. You can also buy other individual products featuring these characters.

Shounen Maid cast

Cast members from the Shounen Maid manga will perform the ending theme for the anime version. The three character’s voice actors will be in a spinoff project on Niconico.

Shiratori Reiko de Gozaimasu!

The Japanese TV drama Shiratori Reiko will get a live-action film which releases in June 2016. The drama is based off of the shoujo manga Shiratori Reiko de Gozaimasu! by Yumiko Suzuki. According to Crunchyroll: “The story of the film involves a complication in Reiko’s romance with Tetsuya when her wealthy family wishes to develop a stretch of seaside property into an expensive beach resort, a plan that Tetsuya’s father and the local fisherman oppose. When this business drives a wedge between Reiko and Tetsuya, romantic rivals seek to capitalize.”

Sweetness and Lightning

The manga Sweetness and Lightning by Gido Amagakure is getting a TV anime premiering in July. Crunchyroll and Kodansha Comics are releasing the digital version of the manga. The summary of the manga: “Having lost his wife, math teacher Kouhei Inuzuka is doing his best to raise his young daughter Tsumugi as a single father. He’s pretty bad at cooking and doesn’t have a huge appetite to begin with, but chance brings his little family and one of his students, Kotori Iida, together for homemade adventures. With those three cooks in the kitchen, it’s no wonder this dinner table drama is so delicious.”

Aria cover featuring First Love Monster

The anime version of the manga First Love Monster will premiere this summer. The summary: “When fifteen-year-old Kaho Nikaidou leaves her sheltered home to start life anew in a Tokyo high school dormitory, the last thing she expects is to nearly get hit by a truck! Saved in the nick of time by a handsome stranger, Kaho falls head over heels for him and, after finally tracking him down, boldly confesses her feelings. Turns out Kaho’s mystery savior, Kanade, is the son of Kaho’s new landlord! The handsome object of Kaho’s affection agrees to go out with her, but her newfound bliss is short-lived when it turns out that her new boyfriend…is a fifth-grader?!”

Skip Beat vol. 33 cover

Skip Beat has been licensed for home release thanks to Pied Piper, Inc’s Indiegogo campaign. The campaign raised funds to release the series on DVD and Blu-ray.

Riku Nanase

Idolish 7 is getting figure releases. Two idols from the group, Riku Nanase and Sogo Ohsaka, are open for preorder. The figures cost 5,400 yen. Riku ships in August and Sogo in September.

Hakuoki Otogisoshi

Sentai Filmworks announced they will license Hakuoki Demon of the Floating Blossom: Wild Dance of Kyoto. In other Hakuoki news, the premiere for the anime Hakuoki: Otogisoshi is April 5.

Fushigi Yugi vol. 1 cover

Crunchyroll added Fushigi Yugi to its catalog. Joining it is the Fushigi Yugi OAV and Fushigi Yugi Eikoden.
