Shiratori Reiko de Gozaimasu!

Crunchyroll added a new Japanese live-action drama to its winter lineup. Shiratori Reiko de Gozaimasu! (I’m Reiko Shiratori!) is a 10-episode series that premiered in Japan Jan. 14. The show is based off of the manga which ran in Kodansha’s Mimi magazine in 1988. The manga is also getting a new one-shot story which will be published in Kodansha’s Kiss magazine in the Feb. 25 issue.

Nao Maita’s 12-Sai (Age 12) manga is getting an anime. According to Anime News Network, the manga “begins with Hanabi, a sixth-grade girl who is neither an adult nor a child. She deals with issues such as accidentally witnessing her homeroom teacher kissing, and worrying about experiencing physiological changes before her friends. The manga depicts a 12-year-old girl’s innocent worries and first love.”

Kōdai-ke no Hitobito

The teaser for Kodai-ke no Hitobito live-action film has been released. The movie, which opens in Japan Jun 4, is based on the manga by Kozueko Morimoto. According to ANN: “The story centers around Kie Hirano, a 30-year old female office worker with a large-scale imagination. She gets to know Mitsumasa Kodai, a handsome colleague, who also happens to be a telepath who can read people’s thoughts. Mitsumasa is charmed by Kie’s personality, and they start a relationship. Mitsumasa’s mother Yuko judges Kie to be unfit to marry her son, but the family matriarch Ann makes Yuko retract the statement. Now Ann teaches Kie how to be a proper lady, and Kie’s life becomes intertwined with the Kodai family.”

Meca Tanaka’s Omukae desu manga, which ran in LaLa from 1999–2002, is getting a live-action drama. CMX Manga published the manga in English.
