Bio: Tsukiuta is made up of two groups representing the months of the year: Six Gravity and Procellarum. Six Gravity makes up December through May, and Procellum makes up June through November. The groups originally began with music and drama CDs before getting an anime. There is also a female version of the groups. Six Gravity and Procellarum are considered rivals.  You can purchase their individual and group albums, as well as merchandise from CD Japan.

Anime story according to Funimation: Six Gravity and Procellarum are two rival male idol groups who happen to live in the same dorm. Six Gravity is made up of young men who represent the months of December to May, while Procellarum’s members represent June to November. Follow the daily lives of these twelve young men as they deal with the stresses of idol-hood, school, and living together. With music by famous Vocaloid producers!

Manga? Yes. There is a Tsukiuta SS Anthology that has stories about each character. There is also a listing for Tsukiuta The Animation on the comic magazine site ZeroSum by publisher Ichijinsha.
