New Shoujo Series in November 2014

Two new series for shoujo lovers coming out this month. One title from Viz has been long begged for – Kiss of the Rose Princess, or Barajou no Kiss, by Aya Shouoto. The other is an intriguing title from Yen press called Ani-Imo, or Ani ga Imouto de Imouto ga Ani de, by Haruko Kurumatani which is currently running in Aria magazine in Japan.

What’s It About?

From Viz: Anise Yamamoto has been told that if she ever removes the rose choker given to her by her father, a terrible punishment will befall her. Unfortunately she loses that choker when a bat-like being named Ninufa falls from the sky and hits her. Ninufa gives Anise four cards representing four knights whom she can summon with a kiss. But now that she has these gorgeous men at her beck and call, what exactly is her quest?!

From Yen Press: See? In this body, I can do whatever I like to “my sister.” Youta has always had a soft spot for his twin sister, Hikaru. Soft spoken and docile, she’s everything a doting big brother could hope for! I’ve got Kiss of the Rose Princess but I didn’t realize we were getting Ani-Imo until this week. I’ll have to put that one on my list since it sounds hilarious. Which of these series sounds interesting to you?
