After going on a hiatus since January 2016, Akiko Higashimura will resume her Princess Jellyfish manga in June.

Masami Tsuda, creator of Kare Kano, will end her Hinoko manga which runs in Hakusensha’s Ane LaLa magazine. The manga will end in two chapters.

Yuri!!! on Ice is getting an anime film. Not much is known other than it will not be a compilation.

 

MegaHouse has show the new Victor Nikiforov figure that is now available for preorder (although it’s sold out CDJapan and will not be restocked!). The figure is 1/8 scale, 21cm and will sell for 10,800 yen. It will be released in October.

The DIVE!! novels, which are getting a TV anime this summer, are also getting a new manga adaptation.

Orange: Mirai

Orange by Ichigo Takano and Princess Jellyfish by Akiko Higashimura, among others, have been nominated for the 2017 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards.

Rejet, an otome game creator, is releasing musical CDs in a project called Corpse Heart: Undead Musical. According to Anime News Network, “The protagonist encounters them at the ”Midnight Black Magic School“ in the U.K. where princes of corpses gather together. They have only one purpose: to find the unknown princess ”Jewel Heart.“ The girl who possesses a trembling heart (”jewel“) can allegedly bring them back to life. The annual ”Easter festival“ begins, starting the search for the princess. The princes of the dead begin their battle for you.” The first CD will be on sale July 26.
