The otome game Kenka Banchou is getting a series of anime shorts in the spring. According to Anime News Network: “The story centers on Hinako, who has grown up not knowing her parents and thinking she has no relatives. One day, a boy named Hikaru appears before her, and says he’s her older twin brother. Hikaru asks Hinako to take his place at attending a famous private all-boys academy for delinquents.”
Hana-Kimi a manga by Hisaya Nakajo is getting a smartphone game adaptation. The manga was published by Viz Media and also has several live-action television series from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Natsumi Ando is launching a new manga called Watashi wa Douka Shiteiru (There’s Something Wrong With Us) in Kodansha’s Be-Love magazine. According to ANN“ ”The manga centers on Nao and Tsubaki, who met when they were children when their mothers worked at a traditional Japanese confectionary shop. But due to a certain incident, they were separated. 15 years later, Nao and Tsubaki are each working at other Japanese confectionary stores, and are reunited.”
Funimation is releasing Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi on home video March 7, 2017.
