The cast for Love Kome ~We Love Rice~ has been announced. The anime, set for a spring released, is about a group of boys who love rice.

A sexy adult manga is getting an anime release. It was announced in W Comics that Soryo to Majiwaru by Reon Maomi will premiere in April. According to Anime News Network, “The story begins when a woman reunites with her first love at a class reunion. She discovers that Kujō has taken over his family’s temple as a priest. The woman thought that priests did not have romantic relationships, but a passion ignites between the two. She wonders if what she and the priest do is really right.”

Dance With Devils is back with an anime film project called Dance With Devils: Fortuna. It will be released sometime in the fall.

The otome manga, Kenka Banchou, ended in Hakusensha’s Hana To Yume magazine. According to ANN, “The story centers on Hinako, who has grown up not knowing her parents and thinking she has no relatives. One day, a boy named Hikaru appears before her, and says he’s her older twin brother. Hikaru asks Hinako to take his place at attending a famous private all-boys academy for delinquents.”

Another manga that’s ended is Mari Fujimura’s Kyou wa Kaisha Yasumimasu (I’m Taking Off Work Today) in Shuesha’s Cocohana magazine. According to ANN, “The love story follows Hanae Aoishi, an office worker in her 30s who has never had a boyfriend. Hanae then starts dating a 21-year-old university student named Yūto Tanokura. However, Italian food company CEO Yu Asao is also interested in Hanae.”

STARMYU’s second season will premiere April 3. The franchise is also getting a stage musical and cast and visuals have been released.

Hiromi Okubo’s Hito wa Mita Hi ga 100 Percent is getting a live-action drama in April. According to ANN, “The story revolves around Jōnouchi, Satō, and Maeda, three women who work as researchers, but have turned their back on femininity based on various excuses. However, they begin a special research project on ”beauty.“ So begins the comedy-filled life of three women who try and fail at being feminine in a quest for self-evaluation.”

The Sanrio Danshi project is getting an anime series. According to ANN, “The project’s premise follows Kōta Hasegawa, a high school boy that loves the yellow Pom Pom Purin dog. By mere coincidence, he ends up attending the same school as Yū Mizuno, a boy who likes the bunny My Melody. Yū tells Kōta that there’s nothing to be ashamed of for liking Sanrio’s cute characters. Together, Kōta, Yū, Shunsuke Yoshino, Ryō Nishimiya, and Seiichiro Minamoto learn to accept their love of the characters instead of feeling embarrassed.”

Crunchyroll announced its new Anime Movie Night. The event will happen seasonally and show some popular and classic anime titles. The first event is in April 2017.
