It’s a bit of a slow news week.

The 2006 shounen-ai anime Gakuen Heaven is now in Crunchyroll’s catalog. The summary according to Crunchyroll: Ito Keita has one thing in his favor: luck! And luck has just landed him a special invitation to attend the Bell Liberty Academy for Boys, an exclusive high school only for the most privileged, the most talented, and the most beautiful. When a strange accident on move-in day attracts the attention of Niwa Tetsuya, the student body president, and Saiyonji Kaoru, the class secretary, Ito finds himself the center of attention. With the eyes of a whole school of pretty boys on him, where will Ito find the time to unravel the mystery of his invitation?

Peach Girl, a shoujo manga by Miwa Ueda that ended in 2004, is getting a sequel. The manga had a spin-off sequel that ended the following year. The sequel follows Momo and Kairi ten years later, and will feature Touji and the infamous Sae. Peach Girl originally ran in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine, but the sequel will run in Kodansha’s Be-Love magazine beginning Aug. 12.

If you haven’t heard yet, Sword Art Online will be getting a live-action American TV series. American independent production company Skydance Television has already fast-tracked production on creating the TV series. No word yet on when it will premiere or who will be cast.

Nisekoi fans, the manga officially ends this coming Monday in Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan. The series will end up being a total of 25 volumes. The creator Naoshi Komi will begin a new series starting in October.
