Red Riding Hood and the Big Sad Wolf

Seven Seas has licensed Hachijou’s Shin’s Red Riding Hood and the Big Sad Wolf. The first volume will be released June 13, 2017. According to Crunchyroll, “Once upon a time there lived a kind, sensitive Wolf. He loved the warm sun, the beautiful flowers, and the song of the birds. But one day the Wolf encountered a girl in a red hood. She delighted in making the Wolf cry, and immediately fell in love with his sorrowful face. Now she brings her colorful friends to torment him every day! What is the story behind all the strange characters populating the deep dark wood, and what is a big, sad wolf to do?”

Bandai’s Sailor Moon Proplica line has another addition to the line up. Bandai is bringing fans the Kaleido Moon Scope, which features six voice recording, music, and sound affects.

Haikara-san ga Tooru

Wake Yamato’s Haikara-san ga Tooru manga is getting two anime films releasing next year. The manga ran in Kodansha’s Shoujo Friend magazine from 1975 to 1977 and won the first Kodansha Manga Award in the shoutout category.

If you remember the 90s when everyone had digital pets thanks to Tamagotchi, well for their 20th anniversary, Bandai is releasing a short anime film in its honor.

A second teaser was released for Orange-Mirai- the rollup anime film to the television series. The film will be released in Japan Nov. 18.
