Shojo Wallpapers for August 2011

Most of the shojo manga mags in Japan have one or two wallpapers that are available for download every month. I have this fetish for graphics, if you can’t tell from my site, and I think it’s a cool idea. I’m often looking for original artwork by the mangakas and these wallpapers are great. You can download them for your desktop or portable devices. Please realize I have no claim to these images and am only collecting them in one place to make it easier to find them.

Some of the magazines have gotten pretty clever and made it necessary to answer a quiz question in order to access the download. Because of this, I was not able answer Sho-Comi’s quiz since the question was from the magazine itself, and I don’t have a copy nor can I read Japanese. The question was also an image, so I couldn’t put it through a translator. However, I was able to answer the ones from Hana to Yume thanks to Google Translate.

I will put an image of the wallpaper and that should link you to the largest size. If you would want smaller sizes for portable devices I will add a link to the actual site, and you can download from there. The only exception being the quiz question ones. I only grabbed the largest size and you can only access the download once. But you can try it out for yourself since I gave you the answer!
