Anime and live-action:

Code- Realize visual from website

There will be an anime adaptation of the otome game Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth ~. This is great news for otome game fans. This is a game that will be released in English in the Fall. Let’s hope this is also simulcasted for English fans.

Norn9 visual from website

The website for the otome-game-turned-anime, Norn9: Norn + Nonette, is now open.

99 Days with the Superstar

Crunchyroll is streaming a new anime and Japanese drama. Wakakozake is an anime that revolves around a 26-year-old OL. According to Crunchyroll, “Wakako’s favorite thing to do for relaxation is to go off by herself after work and go to various places to eat and drink, even if she’s never been there before. The moment Wakako is able to taste the pairing between the food she wants to eat and the perfect accompanying drink, the happy sound of “Pshuuu” leaves her lips. Now, then. Where shall we drink tonight?.” It airs at 7:30 a.m. Sundays at Pacific Time. The first seven episodes are currently available.

Crunchyroll is also streaming the J-drama, 99 Days with the Superstar. According to Crunchyroll, “Namiki Kohei is a 38-years old bachelor who has worked part time at a security company for twenty years. His boss is Saegusa Emiko, who assigns him the detail to bodyguard Han Yoo-Na. Yoo-Na is a South Korean superstar actress who has come to Japan to star in a drama series “Blank Memory”; her stay is for 99 days.”

Kamisama Hajimemashita Japanese Volume 22

Kamisama Kiss is getting another stage musical plus two original anime DVDs. The musical, titled Kamisama Hajimemashita The Musical 2016 will run in January. The two OADs will be bundled with the Japanese limited edition version of the manga. The first will be shipped with volume 24, April 20, 2016. It’s pre-order deadline is Feb. 26, 2016. The second one will be shipped the volume 25, Aug. 19, 2016. The pre-order deadline is June 29, 2016.

Otome games/Visual novels

Black Holmes visual

Fans of Hatoful Boyfriend might enjoy Hato Moa’s newest visual novel titled Black Holmes. The crime drama, according to Crunchyroll, “takes place in 1889 London, with players taking on the role of a detective named Noah Holmes.” The game is not yet released. The website for the new VN is live and includes English information.

Otomate brand image

Idea Factory’s Otomate announced 12 new otome games including Brothers Conflict, Norn9 and Code: Realize, according to Anime News Network. ANN also posted 11 of the 12 game promotional videos.

Gossip Girl Visual Novel

The Japanese visual Novel Gossip Girl, based on the popular teen book series, is getting an English release on iOS and Android in September. The game will be released by Voltage. The game’s description: “Join the world of Gossip Girl and become the newest socialite in NYC’s ritzy Upper East Side! Become a stylist and use your fashion sense to raise your social status as you flirt with the sexiest, most intriguing guys you’ll ever meet. This is your chance to become friends with the characters of Gossip Girl and create your own romance. The two manga volumes of High Speed! Are now available to buy in Japan. The manga is based off of the light novels by Shiori Teshirogi, which also inspired the anime Free! Iwatobi Swim Club.
