Nao wants nothing to do with the gruff and frightening Taiga, but he suddenly presents her with a huge bouquet of flowers and asks her to date him—with marriage in mind! Is Taiga really so scary, or is he a sweetheart in disguise?

Bloody Mary is a BL title but Shojo Beat promises it’s not yaoi because it’s running in a shoujo magazine. When I did my write up on Asuka I commented that the art in this series looks fantastic and it would be a great BL title for Vampire Knight fans. Guess those factors do add up to getting licensed.

Honey So Sweet is taken from the simple title Honey, which I’ve read in Betsuma magazine. It’s a cute title about a girl who agrees to go out with a delinquent because she’s afraid of what he would do if she refused. But he actually likes her and even wants to marry her. Slowly she discovers that his reputation doesn’t really fit the kind-hearted person he actually is. At least this title is slice of life, which I’ve been hoping to see more of from Shojo Beat.

  • At first, I thought, “NO WAY a character has my name!!!” But it’s a dude…and I don’t read BL. So I won’t be picking this up, but Honey sounds really cute!

    • I think that was the reaction from fans that are not into BL. I’m disappointed today, but well, it’s more to read.
