Ah, so this week is my favorite moment of Fruits Basket coming out of volume 6.

In this scene Chizu asks Ryu to comfort her. Chizu has loved Ryu's older brother Toru since childhood.

I love this scene because it is the essence of what most of the Sohmas have endured. Loneliness. Isolation. Painful memories.
