Flowers – Current Serializations

Flowers is a shoujo manga magazine published by Shogakukan on a monthly basis that is aimed at an older female audience. We’re getting titles in North America from Viz media.

Which series have been in Flowers?  The only series I can identify that we’ve gotten is Kaze Hikaru. I wish we had Sakamichi no Apollon by Yuki Kodama. We did get the anime though, of Kids on the Slope, but no go on the manga. What can we beg publishers for? Here’s what’s currently running in Flowers:

Yosh! Those are all the series currently running in Flowers. There are always short stories and one shots of course. These are the main series you will see that are ongoing.

So which of these series that’s non-licensed would I like to see?

  • I think Tsukikage Baby looks good, and it’s by Yuki Kodama as well.
  • Shitsuren Chocolatier by Setona Mizushiro looks interesting, and hopefully not as creepy as Black Rose Alice which we’re currently getting by her from Viz.
  • I know there a lots of readers out there who’d like to see 7 Seeds as well. It’s a longer running series at 27+ volumes but looks like a great sci-fi romance.

  • How about you? Anything look interesting? What would you like to read?
