Yuki Suetsugu’s Chihayafuru manga is getting another film. The manga is published in Kodansha’s Be Love magazine and has an anime, which you can find on Crunchyroll.
Vampire Knight is still not done and will be releasing the first volume of the Vampire Knight Memories manga on June 3, according to AneLaLa magazine. This series focuses on Kaname’s childhood. There will also be another series also called Vampire Knight that will start in LaLa DX’s July issue.
Nana Haruta’s Tsubasa to Hotaru manga is getting more anime episodes. The episodes will air in Japan May 10, May 17, and May 24. The manga, according to Anime News Network, is the story of “Tsubasa Sonokawa, a 15-year old high school girl who fell in love with her upperclassman when he saved her after she fainted at the train station from anemia. She thought it was a meeting of fate, and visited him at his class every day. However, he told her that her feelings were ”heavy,“ and he dumped her. She once again meets a boy after taking over her friend Yuri’s job as boy’s basketball team manager. She learns that she might have more of a connection with this boy named Aki than she first thought…”
Good Smile Company will be releasing a Cardcaptor Sakura figure in honor of the company’s 15th anniversary and the manga’s 20th anniversary.
Maki Enjoji’s Happy Marriage is getting a live-action drama adaptation starting Dean Fujioka and Nana Seino. It will be available exclusively through Amazon Prime Video at the end of June. It’s unclear if international fans will be able to access it through Japan’s Amazon Prime.
Thankfully, indefinite meant only a short period, as Yona of the Dawn will resume on May 20. The hiatus originated due to the Kumamoto earthquakes. The manga’s creator, Mizuho Kusanagi, was not injured. According to Anime News Network, Kusanagi took a hiatus because of the “state of affairs after the second earthquake on April 16.”
