In this scene Kazehaya is attempting to send Sawako a note during class. Having never received a note in class before, she doesn’t consider it’s for her and tries to pass it on to one of the gang around her. Kazehaya already embarrassed, retrieves the note with some commotion and this time writes her name on it. Even when she sees it, she is surprised and still verifies with him that the note is for her. He smiles and confirms that it is. I think it’s moments like the one pictured above that have drawn so many shojo fans into this story. It’s the little things between shy Sawako and sweet Kazehaya that make them so endearing.
